The dome of the rock is the structure with the GOLDEN DOME. It's part of Alaqsa masjid. The Alaqsa masjid has the BLACK DOME and the walls that go all around are part of the Alaqsa masjid, the dome of the rock is pretty much a part of the Alaqsa masjid... watch pictures below
