NYPD Sgt Mohammad deen badly beaten in Queens, N.Y

An off-duty police officer was brutally beaten by a man outside a restaurant in Queens, N.Y., early Sunday morning and the vicious attack was captured on video. The fight outside St. John's Express restaurant and bar on Liberty Ave. in Ozone Park left Sgt. Mohammed Deen in a medically induced coma Sunday night, cops said, according to The New York Daily News. The video of the ugly incident shows Deen lying unconscious in the street as a man believed to be Hayden Holder punches him repeatedly and smacks his head on the pavement. The 29-year-old Holder was charged with felony assault. The New York Post reports that at one point, the video shows the attacker leaving Deen on the pavement as he tries to smash in the windows of the NYPD veteran's nearby white BMW 535i — with Deen's horrified wife locked inside, a police source said. www.opposingviews.com/i/society/duty-nypd-sgt-mohammed-deen-badly-beaten-attack-posted-online-video Watch video here youtube.com/watch?v=JM3pWSodFso#t=31
